Finest golden yellow color. It does not get any better than this. This marvelous gemstone was mined in the Marapana gem fields, cut & polished in Ratnapura by our cutter Kumar. This was re-cut from a more considerable carat weight to perfection. It has been gently heated to low temperature by the local method of puffing a blowpipe to a charcoal containing the rough sapphire, usually to remove the excessive "silk." It is a fantastic sapphire with top golden color, pleasing shape, and excellent clarity. Offered at a great price as this color is unsurpassed.
