What a color! This beautiful, unheated sapphire was mined in Nivitigala, cut & polished in Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, by our friend and master cutter Nalin. It is a color change, finest, medium plus tone, vivid violetish blue in daylight, changing to purple in incandescent light, and depending on various light environments, violet as well: Well-cut, super clean crystal quality, beautiful, unheated sapphire for a special someone.
