Lovely sapphire, with a very unusual color, a more orange-yellow, was mined near Nivitigala, cut & polished in Ratnapura, by our friend master cutter Nalin. Throughout the years, we have been lucky to have met remarkable people, friends, and partners in the "city of gems" that Ratnapura translated into the Sinhalese language: old stock, very pleasing sapphire.
