As of the end of 2014, there is very little unheated sapphires/ material in trading centers worldwide. An unusually long rainy season in Sri Lanka, lasting as I type, makes mining hard, and trim material is unearthed. Prices continue to rise at an uncommon pace. Here is a lovely, super clean & well-cut, no heat Ceylon blue sapphire from our last trip with an ideal cornflower color that will indeed mount exquisite at a great price.
