This sweet, unheated yellow sapphire was mined in Marapana, cut & polished in Ratnapura by our friend and super perfect gem cutter Nalin. Old stock, when Nalin was taking a lot of time to perfect the flower cut, a specialty cut with the extra facet in the lower part of the stone (pavilion) to maximize brilliance. It is a lovely one, a great price.
