A very sweet, no heat, Ceylon blue sapphire here, mined in Marapana, cut & polished in Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. Marapana is a locality on the outskirts of Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, with the highest concentration of gem pits and mining operations on the island. It's lovely, pure 'cornflower" blue with a slightly velvety look. Auspicious.
